Growler from my cool sister Lori. It pours pure copper with gold edges and nice off white head. It has a nice full aroma of tangelo and orange hard candy as well as a touch of spice and slick malt sweetness. The taste is hoppy and bitter as well as pretty darn watery. The flavors are like the nose with both bitter citrus hops and modest citrus hop flavor. It ends just as watery thin as it started. Lots of potential here with the hop bill but it could really use more body.

Growler courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours a light amber to golden color with a one finger white creamy head. Aroma is pleasant -- sweet and malty with notes of citrus, pine, honey, grapefruit, light caramel, some floral esters. Flavor is similar with notes of honey, pine, grapefruit, light citrus, but the flavor fades quickly to nothing. Generally light body with a watery finish. Seems this one needs a stronger malt backbone to support the hops.

On tap at brewery. Pale amber with minimal head. Mild citrus hop aroma. Taste of citrus, mild pine. Mouthfeel is thin and somewhat watery. Medium carbonation. Just OK, disappointing.

On tap at GTMW. Poured hazy medium amber with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up juicy grapefruit and pears with a rich caramel base.. drier, dusty floral notes on the back of the nostrils. The flavor had a sweeter core with pears and grapefruit again.. pine and citrusy bitterness surrounded, and the whole beer dropped off the finish unfortunately quickly. Medium-bodied with not quite enough carbonation.. spicy, short finish. OK.

Tap at GTMW 2008. The beer pours to a lightly hazy copper body with a white head. The aroma was fruity and had some bitter grassyness. A cereal and light hop flavor. The palate was average.

Light copper to dark straw pour nice white head with good lacing. Very fruity aroma hints of cereal and basic grains. avg pal. Miss on the flavor boring bitterness ltos of cereal hints of graham cracker and a grassy finish. I’ll drink something else.

Fairly good IPA, on tap at Sherwood’s. Columbus hops (hence the name?). Could use more malt backbone, but otherwise a nice session IPA. I think the ABV on the chalkboard said 6.3. Seems about right.
