A hazy orange body with a big long lasting offwhite head , lots of carbonation and spotty lacing. Aroma of pine sap, orange peel and earthy malt . Flavor is of piny resiny hops more of the earthy malt and a bit of citrus , finishes with a grassy note. Medium body with a slightly oil thin mouthfeel , light to medium bitterness . This has the the makings of a good IPA but everything seems a bit muted , nothing offensive and quite sessionable , a nice try but nothing memorable . blipp (1669), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Thin, but lasting, off-white head. Slight haze. Pleasant and quite assertive sappy hop aroma with some pine notes. Fairly bitter with a strong zesty grapefruit character. Plenty of firm bite on the palate but a touch astringent in the aftertaste. Overall though, no problems with this one. A very respectable IPA.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Bottle: Pours a nice hazy deep orange with a bubbly thick light tan head that laces. The aroma displays some apparent citrusy (orange) hop characteristics, along with a touch of grassy character and a light caramel pale malt note. Soft carbonation with a spicy mouthfeel. Clean flavor with a nice nutty/light husky crystal malt presence. Smooth sweetness in the body with a spicy citrusy (orange) hop presence. Has a long resiny finish. A balanced and solid IPA that falls on the border of this style and an American Pale Ale. esjaygee (1519), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
