On tap at rnh. Cascade and fruggles. Citrusy tang with a medium body. Pretty satisfied with this brewery so far.

Bottle. This pours dirty, chunky and muddy orange-brown, looking like a muddy mess. But it has a nice citric aroma, so I dive on into the muck. Lighter in body than I’d have thought, this is actually a fairly easy sipper, with a tart grapefruit bite and a tangy finish. Could use a bit more backbone, but pleasant enough. (#3771, 12/20/2009)

12oz bottle. Thick, opaque orange-brown color beneath a fluffy of white head. Fresh, astringent hop aroma. On the thicker side of medium bodied. The malt bill and accompanying alcohol are not so imposing, letting the fresh earthy bitter hops shine. Pleasantly refreshing, but with a smooth yeast rich body. Light soapy nuances, a little watery a times. Overall, though, I quite enjoyed this beer.

Pours coppery orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel malt and piney hops. Flavor is earthy and caramel malt with a nice dose of hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. A hazy orange body with a big long lasting offwhite head , lots of carbonation and spotty lacing. Aroma of pine sap, orange peel and earthy malt . Flavor is of piny resiny hops more of the earthy malt and a bit of citrus , finishes with a grassy note. Medium body with a slightly oil thin mouthfeel , light to medium bitterness . This has the the makings of a good IPA but everything seems a bit muted , nothing offensive and quite sessionable , a nice try but nothing memorable .

Draft. Pours orange amber with a thin head. Floral hoppy aroma with some sweet malt. The flavor has sweet malts with floral/citric hops. Pretty good.

bottle thanks again to bhensonb. poured a amberish orange color with a white head and some lace. aroma was grapefruit, melting plastic, and fingernail polish with the flavor being much the same plus some grassy bitterness and a strong pine resin flavor. body was medium with medium-high carbonation.

12oz bottle from Supreme Liquors, Cambridge MA, 6 November 2009. Gingery amber colour. Thin, but lasting, off-white head. Slight haze. Pleasant and quite assertive sappy hop aroma with some pine notes. Fairly bitter with a strong zesty grapefruit character. Plenty of firm bite on the palate but a touch astringent in the aftertaste. Overall though, no problems with this one. A very respectable IPA.
