Juicy aroma, orange and cereal grain, some alcohol, a bit sweet. Taste of caramel malt and tangerines, surprisingly floral-bitter. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 25, 2009 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright red-brown color with a large brown head.The aroma was sour, tangy and very malty with a light vegetal undertone and a touch of vanilla. The flavor was very malty, rich and sweet with a nutty undertone adn light vegetal and fruity elements. the finish was long, tangy, fruity and malty. The body was full and somewhat creamy. Well done. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium fluffy off-white head that dissipates steadily. The aroma is malty with touches of caramel. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt and caramel as well as mild hops. The finish is short and malty. Just average overall.
