(Over a year ago..) What I remember about this beer was its nice aroma and a hint of sweetness, followed by a faint caramel aftertaste. I hope when they hit 100 they bring these back as regular yearly tradition.

Good thing it is only a limited edition. Shiner would not be a popular brand if all there brews tasted like this one.

Not bad. This beer poors a nice bronze color with an off white motly diminishing head. Light medium sweet caramel aroma. In the flavor department it is dominated by light malty and cookie flavors. Decent finish with some bitterness.

2006 bottle. Typical orangish hue with soft fizzy head. Aroma is a light caramel malt. Flavor is bland and comes across empty but doesn’t every Shiner? average at best.

Bottle. Had this a year ago--so bear with me. Bronze color w/ a fizzy head. Aromas: caramel and dry malt. Caramel, and nutty flavor. Expected more since the buzz was pretty big surrounding it.

Ok, took a while to get here in houston but its here so shudup..i like this shiner beer, one of the better shiners , has a muddled sweet bitter taste thats needs more sweetness than odd bitterness, good but a tad expensive for the sub par brew you get, don’t get me wrong ...very good for a first try by shiner by compared to real german oktobers , sub par....recommended if in texas on a hot day though!

Bottle. Brought back a case of this from a trip to Shiner earlier this year. Nice head and just a hint of sweetness. Another fine old world-style beer from the folks in Shiner.
