Sweet hard roast, slightly burnt with artificial sweetener. Cola pour with a noisy and soon fizzed-out soil brown head. Taste is sweet with lingering roast and nuttiness, a little toffee and Sweet ’n’ Low in the bg. Grainy and a bit coarse. Medium body more on the lightish side, some caramel and dirty sugar water. In Leipzig I would have called this an alcopop. Palidor19 (1791), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 13, 2008 An acidic aroma, similar to that of something found on the ground after a long night on Bourbon Street. A nice looking beer- very dark brownish red with VERY little head. Getting a very yeasty flavor, some roasted malt.. actually.. BURNT malt is more like it. Very thin palate. Icky. I used the word "very" a lot. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA

The appearance is brown with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma but the aftertaste is porter like. The palate is thin. Overall I don’t want another. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2008 It poured a very dark brown with a chunky brown head that dissipated quickly. Not much exciting as far as aroma is concerned, a little maltiness. The flavor is nice, but nothing over the top, some rich chocolatey, roasty notes. Not much to mouthfeel. It’s a good beer, but just wasn’t too crazy about it.
