Aug 7, 2008 At Liars club. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing white head. Roasted and slight fruity aroma. Dry breadish and mild roasted base flavour. Smooth malty and slight roasted finish.

Feb 2, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Poured a deep brownish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, roast, nuts, and burnt grains. Tastes of caramel, nutty, and roast.

Mar 11, 2007 Sampled on 8/3/06: Pours a transparent dark copper brown with a thin, wispy off-white head. Has a smoky toasty caramel malty aroma. Lightly smoky and sweet malty body dries out quickly toward a fizzier finish. A decent brew, fairly true to style.
