| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Dark gold body with a medium khaki head. The aroma is grainy with some cornmeal and green beans. The taste has some nice notes of iced tea and old toffee. There is sharp carbonation that distracts from the brew. A lightly spicy finish with some bell peppers and black pepper hints. Decent. yespr (12426), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 19, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Clean, clear amber body w/ a fluffy white head that leaves minimal lacing behind as it dissipates. Aroma is malts, caramel & a slight bit of hops. Flavor is much like the aroma: Caramel & a bit of hops. Pretty thin in the mouth. Not great, but not terrible either...pretty average. DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Week aroma of fruits and a little hops. Tastes like watery caramel with a little fruit and spices. Not bad. Better then most other shiners. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

Small white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, no carbonaton observed, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, hint of caramel and hoppy. Ditto for the flavor with some spice. Smooth mouthfeel and medium in body. Nothing special going on with this beer IMO and I was overall unimpressed and it left me not wanting this one again. Just nothing stood out here IMO.
