I felt the aroma was nice and tasted exactly as I thought it would due strictly to this. The taste itself was mild and a bit malty, however the sweetness of the brew stayed on my palate long after I had finished the drink itself. This could be good or bad depending on your specific tastes. For the fans of the Helles style, this is definately a must try. I desperately hope that Shiner adds this to the regular lineup! btbullard (8), Fort Worth, Texas, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 16, 2008 Very good on tap, but not worth the typical $5 price tag. But it’s a great starter beer for those who only drink BUD. Can’t wait to see what they do for 100 aenimopiate (143), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA

Nice copper color, wonderfully pleasing floral aroma, and malty, full mouthed flavor pretty much sum up this beer. I really did enjoy this one, and I think I’ll be buying more of it before it’s all gone for good. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

Peppery hoppy taste of the Hallertau dominates. While plain and standard in some ways simply due to the style, the beer still manages to have some interesting subtle malt and yeast flavor to it. Crisp up front hoppiness fades into malt sweetness. Pretty good beer. DJMonarch (6878), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Floral aroma. Clear golden coloured crisp and hoppy. Smooth on the palate with a slightly dry malt finish. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
