I very much enjoyed this beer. I felt the aroma was nice and tasted exactly as I thought it would due strictly to this. The taste itself was mild and a bit malty, however the sweetness of the brew stayed on my palate long after I had finished the drink itself. This could be good or bad depending on your specific tastes. For the fans of the Helles style, this is definately a must try. I desperately hope that Shiner adds this to the regular lineup!

Very good on tap, but not worth the typical $5 price tag. But it’s a great starter beer for those who only drink BUD. Can’t wait to see what they do for 100

I got this one for a friend who lived off Helles beer when he lived in Germany, and I figured I would give it a shot. Nice copper color, wonderfully pleasing floral aroma, and malty, full mouthed flavor pretty much sum up this beer. I really did enjoy this one, and I think I’ll be buying more of it before it’s all gone for good.

Bottle courtesy of zinister. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of biscuits, toast, some tea. Tastes slightly perfumy with some spice, light pepper, caramel, touches of sugar. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is lightly sweet and sugary.

Rich golden color with a fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Nose strong a pale malts with some subtle floral notes. Taste of pale malt with an apple-like tartness. Short tart finish.

12oz bottle. Light and transparent yellow-gold colored. Head quickly fades away. Peppery hoppy taste of the Hallertau dominates. While plain and standard in some ways simply due to the style, the beer still manages to have some interesting subtle malt and yeast flavor to it. Crisp up front hoppiness fades into malt sweetness. Pretty good beer.

Bottle - Excellent clarity and nice color with a white head. Very bready aroma. A very nice beer. I think the flavor could stand for a tad more maltiness and a hint less sweetness.
