Yellow bodied with a white head. Nose oh hay. Flavor of day old grass clippings.

Typical aroma of a Shiner. Strangely light color, but surpisingly great taste. Thin consistency. Aftertaste leaves something to be desired. Not as good as 97 or 98, but defeintely a smooth Shiner product.

This poured a thin golden color out of the bottle with an audible, fizzy white head. Corn syrup nose with just a whisper of cat urine. This beer has a thick, syrupy mouthfeel with honey and corn sweetness. There is some faint citrus in the finish, but mostly this is a pointless beer.

Bottle ... Poured like an ol’ regular American beer. Bright golden with barley a whishper of a swirly head. This drinks like a classic macro corn lager, with a big syrupy, corny character. There’s just a kiss of a little Germanic sting to this, but the overwhelming impression to me is that corn thing ... (#3545, 5/20/2009)

Pours clear straw yellow with a thin white head. Lots of sweet malt and grain in the nose. Flavor is sweet, grainy, with a slightly bitter finish.

Light bronze with minimal head. Aroma wafts malted grains, toasted nut, and corn with residual sweetness. Mildly appealing. Flavor is of toasted grain. Crisp, clean, refreshing, and lightly flavorful. Weak, but with some good qualities.
