Taste from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Pale yellow with white head. Aroma is corny and light. Flavor matches, not sure why they called this a blond as it should obviously be targeted to the average light lager drinker. Light body and well carbonated. Not very good.

Light in color and in feel. Lacking in Brussels lace. Slightly dry taste does not do much to distinguish. Slight malt overtones at finish.

Poured from a bottle a light straw body. Small white head. Thin, watery body. Slightly skinked and very dull.

Decent beer...clear straw colored. Light malty flavor and "alright" use of hopes, head retention seems kinda poor. Aroma is nice flower notes. Not a bad beer, a little watery though, seems like a light beer. Shiner tries to make beer that will be favorable to the majority of social beer drinkers. But it does taste nice.

Bottle: Clear gold color. Sweet grain aroma with a little skunk. Yucky aftertaste. Not too impressive.

Tasted 10/19/07. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. Slight ring of head. Slight caramel cereal nose. Mild and light bodied. But bright with a tight effervescence. Light crisp and very pleasant. Quaffable.
