The original Shiner beer, before the seasonal bock became the brewery’s mainstay. Pours very pale yellow. Aroma is light, somewhat sweet. Flavor is smooth and weak. Quick finish. Forgettable.

Bottle: Clear pale gold in color with a white head. Aroma, pale malts, a hint of skunk, but not bad, some grassy notes. Flavor, pale malts, grassy, light bodied. It was pretty easy drinking, and on the refreshing side. I didn’t hate it, like I thought I would.

My least favorite from the Shiner line up. Pours a bubbly golden color, with a little bit of white head.

When I saw the name, I thought I was going to be "treated" to another dull American golden ale. Instead I was "treated" to another dull American generic Pilsener. Looks okay, a clear light gold with an acceptable head and a steady stream of bubbles filling the glass. But the aroma is distinctly corny with some sort of pale malt and a light floral & grassy bitterness. That bitterness fades in the flavor and is replaced by a corn syrup sweetness and a touch of metallica. It finishes on a sweet, tinny note.

Metallic papery arom. Mild corn sweetness with a bit of floral hops. Medium yellow-golden clear body with thin off-white lightly lacing head. Light watery body with fizzy carbonation. Starts with a mild corn sweetness and carbonic acidity. Smooth overall with light hoppy finish, but not really crisp as a pils should be. Watery finish with dry mild bitter after and some off corny sweetness. Not overly impressive.

Hazy blond color. Very common aroma and taste as other Lagers. Poor.
