| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2006 (Bottle) Pours yellow with large white head and fine carbonation. A light bodied beer, but that’s exactly what I expected. Slightly malty and refreshing. Nothing in the way of off flavors. A little bit sweet for my tastes, but overall not bad. I would rather have one of these than their Bock. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Lighter in color and taste than say a Pilsner Urquell. Much better than the usual run of the mill massed produced lagers from the US. I like Shiner beers and I like this one.
