Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Clear yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Grainy, citrusy aroma with a light lemon note. The flavor is lightly bittered, but boasts sweet peach and mild lemon. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Lengthy, faintly bitter finish.

Light yellow color with an almost non-existant white head. Light gainy hop flavor with not much else. Not bad but not good either.

Light yellow, fizzy head. Aromas of honey and grains. Unfortunately, that’s about as good as it got. Light and sweet, but nothing else going on here. Not offensive, just hard to distinguish from any other macros.

For old time Texans...this was the original Shiner before they put a half naked girl on a bottle and gave it a name. Decent Pilsner and drinkable on a hot day in Texas....which is almost everyday.

Reminded me of a local brew. The color wasn’t bad, but the head didn’t last a minute. Taste was okay. Could probably pound quite a few of these back in an afternoon.

Pale yellow-gold color with a fizzy thin white head that disspates quickly. Lacing is pretty much nonexistent. Light aroma of straw and corn. Light-bodied with vaugue grassy hops, malt and corn flavors. The finish is effervescent and lightly bitter. Although it is not a bad beer, it is kind of a wet blanket all around.

Drank this one from a clear glass mug that originated as a 12 oz bottle. I consumed this with fresh picked sweet corn purchased from a roadside vendor just north of Hillsboro Ohio. Aroma was faint yeast and hops. Appearance was pale golden yellow with a nice white head. Flavor was a typical watery pale lager/pilsner taste. I actually think it tasted exactly like Michelob. It was cold, wet and refreshing - akin to drinking a cold glass of water on a hot day.

Gold color with a big white head. Grainy malt aroma. Weak sweet grainy malt flavor. Pretty drinkable.
