Has a medium golden body with an average white head of foam. The taste is refreshing and goes down easy. RHeastings (419), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 14, 2009 Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a straw-colored yellow, which seemingly, is the color of almost every style that Shiner makes. The nose is nearly neutral and almost entirely without character. The fact that the style is advertised as a Pilsner is surprising, given the fact that the was not a hint of pilsner malt sweetness/grainyness, nor any notes of noble hops. The palate is insipid, again being nearly neutral and tasting more like an American light lager than a classic pils. drowland (1429), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

This beer is what it is... another of Shiner’s lighter version of a real style. It’s clean, easy to drink, and nice on a hot day while brewing. Pershing (149), Garland, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Clear gold color with a small malt aroma. Absent any hop aroma. Small amount of carbonation. Clean bland taste that works on a hot summer day in Texas. gfolivares (67), McAllen, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Pours a light golden color with a decent white head. Light malt aroma with hints of caramel and hops. Light bodied with good carbonation. Nice clean flavor, light at first, but opens up a bit for a restrained hopy end with a short, crisp finish. Although a bit light for this interpretation of a Pilsner, nontheless tasty and refreshing- an excellent session beer. Try with good Texas barbeque with smokey, spicy sauce. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is very light: sweet malt, and grain. Flavor is much the same. Very weak and watery, which I guess isn’t always bad. I would prefer more flavor, but I would drink this over BMC anyday. 6ROW (269), corpus christi, Texas, USA
