Well its not too beautiful a beer..very average pale yellow American lager look..small white head..leaves a ring.
Smell again is nondescript..some malts wishy washy hop aroma.
the taste while still average is quite pleasant in fact..mild is the word..there are a load of malts..but not too sweet and a litle bite of hops at the end.
Its ok on the palate..not too fizzy.
Its drinkable Ok..but i suppose you need it to be 98 degrees for the real worth of this beer to come into play.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 27, 2004 Pours a straw gold with a light white head and a bit of lacing. Sour pils malts and a hint of bitter hops blended with a nice floral accent. Mellow pils malt flavors with a touch of the same hops. Tangy palate, medium body, and a bitter finish. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Pale ceral flavored lager. Slightly cleaner and brighter than some, but make no mistake...AVERAGE! BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2004 Pale yellow color, light head with moderate carbonation. The aroma is dusty with grains and no hops, a bit of watery dog too. The flavor was weak and boring, almost offensive. I didn't care for this too much, but the aroma was very grainy. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 20, 2004 Very light straw color, small head that faded very fast. The aroma was light malt and fruity with a decent sweet side.Light malt taste mild fruit presence and fairly sweet, and it might be my imagination but i can almost detect a light spice.Very light brew with mild hops,it's worth trying once but it's nothing special. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/20 | Feb 14, 2004 Tastes no better than most cheap American Standards. It's foul. This brewery sucks. I can't wait to try the hefe that I have from them sitting in the fridge. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2004 This beer is underrated compared to other similar beers. A little lighter in body than a European lager, but much better than an
American one. Not overly hoppy, good balence of hops to malt very drinkable. Better than other Shiner beer.
