Bottle. Actively carbonated, pale yellow body, near-clear and extremely noisy. Dusty nose with very sweet pale malt and a touch of citrus. Cloying, lightly malty taste, inoffensive and bland. Watery body. All of these would be reasonably acceptable in a pale lager, or even seltzer, but make for a poor Pils and an inconspicuous beer I’m passing on.

Clear yellow color with a thin white head.Smells like malt and grain but not very strong at all.Tastes has a bit of a wheat flavor but finishes like a glass of water.I heard a lot of good things about Shiner but this beer falls well short of what I expected.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white frothy head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet malt and grain. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a pale malt and grain. A decent pilsener from Spoetzl.

Grain and mild hop aroma notes. Clear golden with white frothy head. Bland, grain, and Saaz hop flavour notes. Watery.

Pours a very, very pale straw color with a white head. Thin sweet grainy aroma with no real evidence of any Saaz. Taste follows suit with a sweet finish. Lacks depth as a pilsener.

Bottle. Pours a gloden yellow with a large white head that quickly fades. Taste is rather sweet and has a light malt taste. Very clean, easy to drink and refreshing. Aroma is similar. A good beer to have on a hot day or after work.

Not bad light blond, tastes an awful lot like Shiner Bock with some sweetish hops. Summery.

Bottle from World of Beer in Tampa. Pours light golden color with a non existant head. Smells and tastes sweet with a creamy mouthfeel. Very light and refreshing.
