(sample) Pours a amber copper color with little head which leads to no lacing. Bread and roasted malts in the nose. Taste is same as the nose but it also has a fruity and skunky component. It has a medium to low carbonation and a sliqhtly bizzare aftertaste.

Bottle. Not a very good beer. Skunky, with a slight malt aroma. Taste like a traditional mass marketed beer.

~Biscuity and caramel malt aroma, yeasty ester of green apple. Yeastiness dominates. ~Very clear amber color with small off white head that quickly disappears. ~Crisp caramel and biscuit malt taste with some green apple yeastiness. ~Light body with high carbonation. Sour like finish. ~ I much rather drink a Bock like I was expecting. Do not drink this on an empty stomach..

2009 Bottle - I wasn’t planning on drinking this now, but I dropped the bottle on my kitchen floor and it started foaming out the side of the cap, so I guess why not...Pours clear amber with a medium off white head...aroma is roasted grain, dry malt, the slightest lager skunk...flavour is metallic and grainy, old hay and very light hop bitterness...bland, meh...

Filtered clear copper body topped by a fizzy injecto head that ends life even before my first sip. Aroma is malty, light caramel and cereal. Flavor is decent, for what it is (rather than what its name claims it to be). Light palate, quite fizzy (good old injecto again). Not terrible, not great, wel.... average.

Blah...finally rating this and yes, it is as bad as I remember. Aroma was so so. Light caramel malt and not much else. Pour was a nice deep dark amber with a one finger off white head.Taste was very sweet but very weak. Tasted like a dark malt tea with sugar added. Decent carbonation with a wet sticky aftertaste. Not a beer I will have again if I can help it

12 oz bottle-pours a disappearing off white head and amber color. Aroma is paper, spice hops, caramel-medium malt. Taste is caramel-light malt, paper, spice hops. OK effervescence.

Pours a thin amber with a white head. It has a faint aroma of malted barley, but the hops are fairly indiscernible. It tastes of lightly roasted barley with a hint of bitter hops. It has a slight metallic aftertaste. This beer has a fairly thin mouthfeel, and is neither exceptional nor bad. I’d drink it again, but it’s not on the top of my list at the same time.
