| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bottled. Aroma of grassy hops, some hints of caramel malt. Clear, amber-brown coloured with a fast dying, beige head. After 30 seconds no head is left. taste has grassy/grainy hops. Not much else there. Very watery. Certainly not a bock. Actually quite bad. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Taste from WLV, Chicago. Dark amber with off-white head. Aroma is slight roast, all very light and semi-sweet. Flavor is only slight caramel and roasted malt, but overall very light. Light body and well carbonated. All and all nothing too exciting, but I could see how this could be a good introductory beer. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Bock? Ha! Poured a dark yet thin amber color with a medium whtie head. Notes of roasty sweet malts and very mild hops. If you are stuck in Texas (hopefully Austin) this is one of the few ok choices. Still pretty boring. DrPiva (90), Alabama, USA

It is called a Bock, but it is a dark lager, but like their other beers, it is designed to please a majority. Has off-white head with minimal retention. Nice Dark amber color and malty flavor with slight roast tones. Living in Texas I get this beer pretty fresh. I buy this occasionally. I like it. EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Has a decent light malt taste and hint of hops. Not much here. Better than light beers, but if this is the best beer in a bar, I’d prefer to leave than drink the unbock, shiner bock. BeerBellyOSU (47), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Red gold in color, did not pour with much head, but what there was was a nice white. It smells a little gassy, but I’ve had it in my fridge a while. Ew. This beer tastes like a bud light or the like.
