Bottle. Shiner bock, okay. This is obviously a true Bavarian bock. I’m excited. We have a cloudy dark orange pour. Kind of looks like an IIPA with a small head. Yea, this will be tasty. Let’s take a sniff. Mm. Okay, good. I’m picking up some egg cartons, creamed corn, clipped grass, river water. Flavor is a bit cleaner, I must say.Mineral water, light bread, caramel, yea. Not gagging by any means. . .not very appetizing. It’s a nice step away from BMC.

Bottle. Pours solid red, looks kind of thin and relatively see-through. The aroma is a little rough, kind of papery with apples, corn, metal. Again, the flavor is better. Just predictable sweet malts, very timid hops, apple peels, and an interesting hint at cinnamon. Could be worse. But, uh, this ain’t no bock.

Pours amber color with a touch of foam,taste is a somewhat good bitter taste. Overall just an ok beer

This was dissapointing especially has well as the Hefenweizen was. I know they r 2 different types of beer however this did not have any taste. More like an amber bock by a macro brew.

Bottle. Orange-amber with a thin off white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. I pick up a small herbal character in the nose; mapbe woodruff? Disappointing thin body. Basic caramel malt flavor. Nothing special.

I’ve got to stick up for this beer. I don’t know why it gets knocked. Is it Optimator or Salvator? No. But it’s not a bad bock. The aroma is very pleasing and the taste is smooth and satisfying.

Pours caramel brown with minimal head. Aroma is malt and sweet metallic. Flavor is lacking. Sorta sweet malts, fruit, and that metallic thing pops up again. Has a bit of a bitter finish. Thin, highly carbonated body. Dissapointing.

12oz. Bottle: Very malty aroma with caramel and some hints of horse blanket and grass. Smelling this beer gives me a headache. Poured brown in color with a hint of amber. Medium off-white head diminished quickly but lasted throughout. No lacing. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tastes malty and salty. Very unbalanced toward malts. Light body. Thin, watery texture. Lively carbonation. Long malty finish. Overall, this is crap.

WTF is this crap?! Certainly not to style. This is worse than Amber Bock. At least THAT is non offensive. Why does this shit have a following.? Smells like bad malt and old spaghetti in a pot. Taste is slightly sour ,watery crap. Worse than most macro swills.
