| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 20, 2006 A little sweeter than a lager, and a little more crispness of hops, stronger presence than shiner lager, almost bock like flavor. It was not as smooth as I expected from other dunkelweizens I have tried. Also there was the Shiner overtone which I find just a bit objectionable. aenimopiate (144), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA

Medium-bodied with some caramel sweetness and lightly burned accents. There really ain’t much wheat in this - reminds me mostly of a Dunkel. 170406 ratman197 (3252), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 25, 2006 A hazy red beer with a lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet, but quite light with notes of wheat and caramel, leading to a dry wheaty end. The body is thin. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
