Dark amber color. Very simple ale, with some caramel.

Nov 26, 2005 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear copper body topped by a medium beige head. Aroma is caramel, orange, nutty, some metallic. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some nutty, light floral, raisin. Watery light-medium body. Drinkable beer -- nothing I would ever crave, but certainly no reason to walk away from it.

Feb 2, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Poured a deeper orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of burnt grains, caramel, and wheat. Tastes of chocolate, wheat, caramel, and roasty. Noticeably missing where any traces of bananas and cloves/spices.
