| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Cloudy light golden pour with a medium foamy head. Aroma of lemons and a touch of yeast. Flavor is fake lemon, which overpowers most everything else. However, refreshing and highly drinkable. 17thfloor (1518), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Pours a hazy light straw color with a medium white foamy head. Smells dusty, wheat, some spice and a little bit soapy. First taste is of bitter citrus, tangy. Seems like there is a lot of lemon over shadowing any wheat or spice flavors. Some cashew and kinda floral. Sweet like a Belgian White, not a hefe. Light but sticky body with light fizzy carbonation. Heathen (810), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2008 THOUGHTS: A really nice wheat beer. A little more citrus than most wheats. Reminded me a little of Sweaty Betty, but not quite as good. Better than I was expecting. A nice summer beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a cloudy, dark yellow with nice carbonation and a small, white head that kept a thin sheet. The aroma was light to moderate yeast, wheat and citrus. The initial flavor was moderately acidic and surprisingly a little salty; while the finish was lightly sweet and moderate to heavily acidic with an average duration. There was citrus, yeast and wheat. The light to medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a moderate to heavy astringent finish. DrnkMcDermott (1871), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Well, yeah. There is some yeast stuck to the bottom of this bottle. My label says "orange and lemon peels with honey added." Very cloudy dark yellow in my glass, head disappears quickly (so I’m dinging it for not having a proper hefe head). Smells like a malty lighter beer, with a hint of lemon. Taste is spritzy, with wheat and noticeable orange, but pretty tart. Not terrible, just not what one should find from a beer calling itself a hefeweizen. Still, kind of a nice summer brew. Nephilium (558), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Slightly sweet aroma, hints of wheat and spice. Pours a cloudy yellow, with about half a finger of white head. Decent tart flavor with hints of citrus and spice. Clean finish, and light on the palate. A very nice beer for the price. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2008 Spritzer. Constant rising head. This is very refreshing and underrated. Notes of clove and lemon zest. If you like hefeweizers, this is a good outing with a change of pace. FatguyRacer (132), Crownsville, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. The quest continues for an everyday hefe. This is the lowest priced stuff i’ve found so far, but its not my glass a beer, as it were. The color is translucent banana yellow that was not exactly appealing and the taste was too thin and citrisy for my palate. The one thnig I did like about it was the aroma. Here the citris worked well with the wheaty, breadlike smell. I had a Sam Adams Hefe right after and SA is worth the extra 2 bucks a six.
