Smells of lemon, tastes very wheaty, slightly watery. Has that characteristic "Shiner" flavor. Leaves a strong citrus aftertaste. Decent brew. DarkBeer (47), Ohio, USA

I usually drink dark ales, but found this to be a very refreshing change of pace. Much sharper flavored than other hefeweizen’s I’ve tried. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 16, 2008 This has a nice orange, lemon zest to it. I found it extremely refreshing easy to drink. djd07 (749), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a small white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a spicy orange and light hops. The taste is a sweet orange and a light clove aftertaste. A decent wheat ale and easy to drink from Shiner. aspeese (28), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 13, 2008 In OK Hef, but for the ability to find and the cost, not bad. Good color and aroma though. Left a kind of acid bitter palate Bhef25 (35), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Not a great Hef by any means. Not true to the style. However the brew pulls it off and is very drinkable. Refreshing beer with a smack of honey that hits the palate. Hinez57 (132), Clinton, Mississippi, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Slight wheat, sourish, and slightly phenolic nose. Appearance is slightly too clear. Decent flavor profile, slightly bitter for the style. Notes of grass, white weat, and pale barley malt. Thin body. Overall more drinkable than I make it sound. A little off from style, and better hefes can be had, but it is a successful thirst quencher for those hot summer days. jeremytoni (1114), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
