It has a subtle sweet wheat aroma. It pours a lighter hazy yellow than the others, and it it tastes a million times better too. It is subtle, but it is smooth. I get the obvious wheat malt, but I get a little vanilla as well. It is very smooth and thirst quenching. Not overly carbonated or filling. Probably my favorite Amberican Wheat. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Highly carbonated, slightly too much in my opinion, and a coppery, yeasty smell along with spices. Standard spiced hefeweizen taste, but nothing too outstanding. I prefer Shiner bock to this beer, and thought this was nothing special. On the positive side, I didn’t find an overpowering clove taste which I don’t like in some hefeweizens. basher (12), murray, Kentucky, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 8, 2007 The second beer was better than the first. It took some getting used to. The pour was good, with a nice head and cloudy yellow color. The taste was where this beer was lacking. Way too much citrus, it tasted more like a soda pop than a beer. But after a few bottles, I settled in and was able to pick out the hops. I love hefe’s, but this one was a little too fruity. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2007 I was not a big fan of this beer. It seemed to have off flavors and an odd nose. The moutfeel showed some of the wheat but the finish worked it out. beerfinder1 (45), PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2007 A typical hefeweizen. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Citrus in the aroma. Highly carbonated on the palate. Smooth and tasty. A mild hefe, however, not a lot of spice. Easy drinking. obguthr (1053), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2007 Subdued aroma of sweet corn. Cloudy honey gold color, medium head. The flavor is mildly sweet blend of grain and hops, lagerish, and rather unimaginative. Curious vegetable finish, like cauliflower and hops, not strong. Kind of a drab hefe. The Shiner black lager was much better. BDR (2167), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
