You need to swirl the beer first or you don’t smell the banana very much. Good head retention. Some lacing. Light honey color with hazy unfiltered appearance .Sweet flavor. Malty mouthfeel. Very smooth and well balanced. I could easily drink a six pack on a hot day. WarFockewulf (21), Douglasville, Georgia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Great american wheat beer. Good for hot days and doing yardwork. I have to pace myself, because these go down so smoothly, then I forget about the yardwork.
Great cloudy appearance and goes great with a lemon. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2006 The expoected hazy light gold, but the head is much smaller than what I’m used to with a hefeweizen. Bananna, wheat, and bready yeast on the nose. Maybe a little thinner than it should be, but clean and light with some citrus and light fruity esters. The finish is lightly bitter, with a bit of a metallic aftertaste. Somewhat understated hefeweizen for my tastes. jrmac (213), USA

It is easily the best american made hefe on the market in South Carolina. This stuff sells so good on tap our local tap room can’t keep up with demand. Very good and unbeatable for the price. It starts a little rough but finishes in pretty good shape... and this leaves you wondering what might be in it to change your mind.
The aroma is not overbearing, the taste is acceptable and the after flavor seems to migrate out of your mouth by the time you close out your initial contract.
For a Texas product, it is comparatively good.

Some lacing. Mouthfeel light, refreshing. Flavor is mild wheat malt with lemony overtones. A little weak feeling but pretty good summer refresher.
