Jan 15, 2006 Bottle. Well, this might as well have a plain white label that says hefeweizen. This is like if the government had hefeweizen rations, it would taste like this. Nothing offensive (I’m looking at you flying dog), just about a generic as you can get. Still thirst quenching.

Jan 2, 2006 Pretty weak just like I expected, it had some spiciness to it, but no orange or lemon, it didn’t gross me out but just tasted like what it was, a cheap hefeweizen.

Dec 23, 2005 The aroma is sweet, bread-like, bubblegum, and banana. The appearance is a hazy yellow gold with a small head. The flavor is malty and bread-like with banana and a little citrus. The palate is smooth. This is a nice beer.

Dec 23, 2005 Lightly cloudy yellow-orange color with a thin white head that lasts pretty well. Thin and spotty lacing. Light citrus and spices in the nose. Light-bodied and fairly zesty with citrus up front along with some wheat and spices. The flavor mellows out pretty quickly though. The finish is round and wheaty. Really not worthwhile.

Dec 18, 2005 The bottle poured a hazy golden beverage with a nice sized creamy white head that was mostly lasting and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was true to style having a light citrus (grapefruit) character. However, lurking in the background were notes of dust or chalk. The body was medium-light with fizzy carbonation and a smooth texture. The flavor started off slightly sour with a hint of bitterness. The finish was of average duration and just a bit on the bitter side.

Dec 18, 2005 Appearance was true to style, cloudy wheaty look, but not as much head as expected in a hefe. Aroma of lemons/citrus, bland taste with tangy? aftertaste. Not quite right. Decent summer brew i guess.
