The aroma was true to style having a light citrus (grapefruit) character. However, lurking in the background were notes of dust or chalk. The body was medium-light with fizzy carbonation and a smooth texture. The flavor started off slightly sour with a hint of bitterness. The finish was of average duration and just a bit on the bitter side. j2112oe (3), USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Appearance was true to style, cloudy wheaty look, but not as much head as expected in a hefe. Aroma of lemons/citrus, bland taste with tangy? aftertaste. Not quite right. Decent summer brew i guess. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2005 Poured from scary-looking bottle into a weizen glass. Cloudy and dark yellow. White head that wasn’t as thick as I’d expect from a hefe but who knows? maybe I didn’t pour it well. Aroma was weak and of bananas and grepefruit. Taste was similiar, but had a strange harsh bitterness in it...I don’t think it was a hoppy bitterness. This harshness ended in a citrus-peel "tang" that was somewhat unpleasant. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2005 Tap At Emerson Biggins, OKC: poured cloudy lemon yellow with a moderate white head. Very light aroma of yeast and a touch of spice. Flavor was fairly thin especially when compared to the Blue Moon I had after this. Lightly yeasty. Refreshing but mostly watery. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 8, 2005 I was not impressed by the hazy semi-solid appearance of this beer especially when I saw little black things swimming in my glass. The semi-sweet taste and medium body redeemed some of the experiance for me, but I have still had better. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2005 Carbonation very high, too bubbly to be enjoyable as a decent beer. Pours light straw into the glass, very golden. Aroma of yeast and citrus (baked yeast that is) almost bready. There didn’t seem to be a discernable flavor, but it did serve to cleanse my palate while eating tapas. Although water did as well. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 29, 2005 LIght, effervescent and hazy with a white head and some big floating chunks. Spicy and yeasty in aroma with a bit of citrus and CO2. Spritzy on the palate with a bit of bread and citrus and some graininess in the flavor. Light in body. Somewhat muddy in finish. Not horrible.
