Mate, this man on the bottle looks pissed off. A decent hefe flavor/style wise, but no floaties to speak of, and only moderate pizzazz. So, a sigh. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 2, 2005 Cloudy yellow beer with a fizzy white head. I swirled in most of the yeast in the bottle after my initial taste, but it didin’t seem to change the flavor much. The nose has some citrus notes and noticable yeast. Subtle wheat beer flavors with some doughy yeast. Not a lot going on in this beer, but it is very quaffable. It calls itself a bavarian style wheat beer, but I think we have it correctly under the American Wheat category. BigBastard (668), L.A., California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 2, 2005 Nice sweet banan and clove flavors, with the slightest hint of roastiness. A nice, easy drinking hefe. awebster (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Nothing special here, just your average hefe. Golden straw color with a large head and a light peppery hayish aroma. Taste is of hay and fruit. Lubiere (4536), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2005 Hazy golden beer with a thin big bubbled white head. Sulfury wheat aroma, with band-aid. In mouth, lightly acidic notes with wheat, herbs and lemon. No typical banana notes in this. A bit past its prime. Fish (439), Kure, Japan
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2005 Not really a very impressive beer. Stick to Franziskaner or Flying Dog if you want a more micro-ish Wheat. Beer #45 for me at the World Beer Fest. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 14, 2005 A little thin and lacking lemon and spice to be rated with the higher end GH’s. Great hot weather beer. Since this winter is supposed to be warm, I’m sure the summer brews will bounce back into production. To the dismay of those who enjoy the winter seasonals. Average.
