Second Shiner product I’ve tried, really enjoy the Bock, I think I like this more than the bock. Fulfilling for a hot day, or any day for that matter. One of the best wheats I’ve had.

Sort of bland compared to other hefes I have had but still nothing to turn down. Cool bottle.

Bottle: Decent citrus (mostly orange) with only a hint of banana and moderate clove presence in the aroma. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Much more banana presence in flavor than aroma. Citrus not quite as strong as banana, but close. Clove comes thru in the finish with the slightest hint of pepper. Not a great beer, but definitely underrated.

Bottle. Orange rind, banana, clove aroma. Light golden yellow and orange color - cloudy with small head. Spicy clove and orange flavor. Decent body for a wheat. Nice beer for an American wheat.

I enjoyed this wheat beer alot. The is cloudy with a nice foaming and froathy head. The taste was sweet and simple. Clean finish and leaves you satisfied on a hot day. *edited up rating, 5$ for a six pack is also a hell of a deal

Big ass white head on a pale banana yellow body. Aromas of grape, orange zest, a bit of clove, and something astringent. Tastes quite nice, got hints of honey and citrus. Nice sweetness as well with a clean slightly bitter finish. Quite light bodied, wish it had more mouthfeel. Not jam packed with flavor, but I could see myself downing quite a few of these on a hot day.

Big time cloud of light hay gold, emensly thick looking center and trimmed in white gold. Big rocky white top gains hold and slenders down to more creamy glazing. Adequate thick lacing. Aroma is soft and creamy with a light cleanness of bready malts, some airy dishsoap citrus tang, and tiny showings of floral yeast and spice. Taste is of a medium crisp tone, bready with wheat, not as tangy or sweet as some hefes but there in a moderate enough body for what is being displayed. Milding undertones of lemony citrus, banana, and floral spice make up the remaining balance. Continues to stay soft and clean and rounds off nicely in the finish, but there’s just not a whole lot of anything to make it stand out. Feel is close to medium with a frothy airyness about it. Light, not watery, tangy, downgraded citrus fruityness is placed throughout its duration. Not a bad drinker though. A crisp, clean, close to fulfilling hefe.

Not a bad wheat ale, but certainly no hefeweizen. Hazy yellow with a quickly collapsing fizzy white head, the aroma is a mild lemon scent. The taste is somewhat acidic, wheaty and tart with a citric twist. It’s a bit thin with a weak, wet finish, but over all a decent thirst quencher.
