Commercial Description:
Shiner Hefeweizen (Hef-ay-vite-zen) is a classic unfiltered Bavarian-style wheat brew. Once poured into a glass, the distinctively cloudy Shiner Hefeweizen delivers a fresh, satisfying flavor from start to finish.

Pours cloudy pale yellow with some orange tones and a small white head that quickly fades to a patchy film. Aroma is wheat malt and sour orange hops. Flavor is sour wheat malt and orange. Fizzy mouthfeel and medium-bodied.

Cloudy, orange colour. In fact it looks a bit like orange juice. Can’t say I picked up much in the way of banana, vanilla, wheat, spices or anything else very enticing. I see it’s down as an American Wheat, not a hefeweizen (despite the name), so, as I’ve not tried too many American Wheats, perhaps that’s the style. There’s nothing objectionable about this beer - it’s crisp, slightly citric and reasonably clean. It would probably make an acceptable summer quaffer, and I’m all in favour of beers for that purpose that aren’t pale lagers. It’s just not very interesting. On tap at the Green leafe cafe, Williamsburg.

Pours hazy yellow in color. Big foamy white head. Light wheat aroma. A mild wheat beer. Pretty good for an american wheat. A little sweetness and spice. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Ok, so the nly thing cool about this beer is the label. I don’t know why I keep buying Shiner beers, as I have yet to have a good one.

Hazy Yellow Coloring With White Head. Some Citrus in the Flavor...Would Imagine Would Be Brought out More With Lemon...Light Wheat Flavor. Sweet and Just a Pinch Dry. Not Much Flavor or Character But Definitly Smooth and Drinkable.
