Commercial Description:
Shiner Hefeweizen (Hef-ay-vite-zen) is a classic unfiltered Bavarian-style wheat brew. Once poured into a glass, the distinctively cloudy Shiner Hefeweizen delivers a fresh, satisfying flavor from start to finish.

Pretty good offering from Shiner, which isn’t exactly saying a whole heck of a lot. Better with lemon, but then again so is lemonade. What does that mean? I dunno.

Pours cloudy yyellow with a big head. Aroma is grassy with a little wheat. Flavor is nice. A little grassy with a nice spice to it. The wheat was light but present. Body was nice. A good beer, but nothing special.

Murky orange-yellow in colour. Aroma was filled with cirtus, some hops and quite sour. The flavour had huge amounts of cirtus - too much - very sour, unbalanced. Medium-light body. Finished rather harsh, not much wheat - just a acidic sourness. Not all that great, thanks piscator34.

In the glass, cloudy yellow with a thin white head. A hint of allspice in the nose. I do not detect any fruitiness. Citrus, slight wheat flavor. A mediocre American Wheat

Pours cloudy yellow with small white head. Nose is citrus, allspice notes. Mild citrus and banana flavor. OK but there are many better hefeweizens. It is easy to get around here so I’ll probably drink it again.

Surprisingly good. Doesn’t taste as fruity as most hefeweizens. Good stuff

This was a very hoppy, flour-ish beer. Somewhat bitter aftertaste...I dunno. It’s kinda difficult to describe this one. Wheaty...it really is a somewhat run-of-the-mill hefeweisen. But it’s not bad...but OK. Try it.

Draft. Sediment swirling in murky light yellow, minimal head brew. Easy drinker. Nothing very differentiating about the flavor. A decent low-risk hefe.
