Damn mar you didnt tell me how cool this beer way. I didn’t read the label and was expecting another ho hum xmas beer. Damn the peaches and pecans jump out at you and say hello with gusto! Nice amber pour. small head. Peaches are everywhere on the nose and the tongue with slight pecan hints and the flavor has a very slight bitter finish. This was a fun beer.

12oz bottle from Parti-Pak Liquors (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a generally clear dark reddish brown color with a thin off-white head with little retention or glass lacing. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of peaches, ripe dark cherries, some hints of honey and malt. Flavor is also sweet and fruity with notes of ripe peaches and cherries with a slightly medicinal cough syrup note toward the middle. Generally light body with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Some slight bitterness on finish.

Bottle, with Tommy at his Winter Six Pack tasting. Dark amber, tan head. Peachy nose, in a way that makes me think of peach flavored bubblegum. A bit of maple syrup. Touch of toasty malt in the flavor, fruity in a slightly odd way, honey. Overall, not a train wreck, which was kind of what I was expecting. Not quite natural tasting either, but I enjoyed it. In a slightly regressive sort of way.

(12oz. bottle, courtesy of mar) Pours a clear amber body with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma of freezer burned peaches, cola, light vomit, gelatin, and caramel. Flavor of gelatin, light peach, caramel, and nuts with a moderately bitter finish.

Poured a red amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, peach, and nuts. Taste of caramel, light roast, nuts, and toffee, with a touch of peach in the finish.

Nice looking amber color. Too much fake peach flavor, it overwhelms any hope to compliment the underlying ale. Can’t identify any pecan flavor. Would be better with just a hint of peach flavor.

From lb4lb via trade. The pour was a quite attractive mahogany color with a two finger tall off white head. Some lacing. The aroma was peaches, caramel and lightly roasted malt. The flavor was peaches and caramel with roast and nuttiness only barely coming through. Slightly watery mouthfeel. A different take on a winter warmer to be sure. Thanks!
