Pecan comes in the aftertaste/outbreath with that familiar nutty/dusty type taste you get when eating nuts. I just don’t like peach... so this is somewhat biased. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a dark amber color with a small amount of beige head. Aroma of peach and light berry. Taste includes almond, vanilla and even some amaretto. Light hints of spice towards the finish. I actually liked this beer. It isn’t the typical holiday brew, which is appealing to me. The demand for this beer in Texas last Christmas was crazy (they sold out in many places). Nose is sweet with rich peach notes. Taste is sweet but also cloyingly bitter, the peach certainly comes through, but I can’t drink this. matthasson (62), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2009 This is a refreshing change from the normal spiced up holiday beers I am used to. The smell is dominant with peaches and citrus aromas. Initially there is a unique blend of peaches and pecans and a moderatly hoppy presence. It starts sweet but toward the end the peach flavor looses some appeal and gives way to a nutty malt aftertaste. Overall this is an interesting holiday beer that would go well with a fruity dessert dish or cake.

Kind of a dull combination of lots of fruit flavors, if that makes any sense RSRIZZO (1368), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2009 (Thanks to Headbanger for this bottle) - Color is a deep amber with very good carbonation and a nice tight head. Aroma is light peach scent. Taste is easy, smooth and fruity. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down smooth. Finish comes in with a nice peach taste then some bitterness and a hint of caramel. After taste has a faint nutty taste as the bitterness builds just a bit. This is a tasty little brew and an interesting take on a holiday brew. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 16, 2009 dark ruby in color with a half-inch beige head. Soft, subtle malt aroma with a dash of fruity bubble gum. Taste is sweet and fruity, touches of apricot, and MORE than a little bubble gummy, with a dash of holiday spice. Dark, bitter aftertaste. Odd. Not bad per se, but certainly not great.
