Tasted 1/1/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a deep dark ruby hue. Moldy layer of off-white head. Aromas of cola, citrus and a lotta spices. Light to medium bodied with a fizzy, fruity soda flavor. Fruity Pebbles. Odd carbonation and bitterness. This is a mess...

Dark amber with a small-to-medium, very light-brown head that is mostly diminishing. Really strong peach aroma, more similar to canned peaches than fresh - actually a really pleasant aroma. Flavor has a bit of grassy, herbally hops up front, mildly bitter and mildly sweet. Peaches take a definite back seat. Finish has notes of toffee, roasted nuts and stale bread. Expected more fruitiness in the flavor after the rather huge aroma. Still, a decently fun beer.

Bottle. Pours clear tawny with a small, fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, nutty), average hops (flowers, perfume), average yeast (leather) with notes of peaches, apple, pear, cinnamon, and ginger. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Picked this up at Wise Guys in Merrillville, Indiana. Nice look to it, a clear reddish chestnut body - artificially colored, according to the label - and a creamy, pale beige head. It had an aroma of overly ripe peaches - the mushy type that you accidentally poke your finger into. The flavor is peach candy with a nutty bitterness that does not taste like pecans. Oh dear.

Pour is darker than I expected. A good auburn-brown. Aroma is very nice. Flurry of cranberries and spice. Flavor is very nice as well. Much cranberry flavor is very present. Little ginger, clove, allspice, etc. Good stuff.

Damn mar you didnt tell me how cool this beer way. I didn’t read the label and was expecting another ho hum xmas beer. Damn the peaches and pecans jump out at you and say hello with gusto! Nice amber pour. small head. Peaches are everywhere on the nose and the tongue with slight pecan hints and the flavor has a very slight bitter finish. This was a fun beer.

12oz bottle from Parti-Pak Liquors (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a generally clear dark reddish brown color with a thin off-white head with little retention or glass lacing. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of peaches, ripe dark cherries, some hints of honey and malt. Flavor is also sweet and fruity with notes of ripe peaches and cherries with a slightly medicinal cough syrup note toward the middle. Generally light body with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Some slight bitterness on finish.
