Medium amber pour with a decent little fluffy ivory head. Smell is bold sweet peaches, with little to no pecan presence. Flavor is subtle wheat and has pecans in there as well. No big or overpowering sweet fruit or peach in the taste - but a nice little nutty bitterness. Finish reminds me of the flavor of the skin of peaches. Mouthfeel is decent. Medium carbonation and a fitting body overall. Surely one of the better beers from Shiner.

Notes of peach, tropical fruits, toffee, spice, cinnamon, and plum. Medium bodied, lightly stick with lively carbonation. Not impressed. douglas88 (1626), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Pours a deep amber with a medium white head. A interesting nose; fruity and nutty. The flavor reminds me mostly of apricot, something odd that I guess was pecan. Pretty nice. Smooth and easygoing. acblue (63), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Light orange with a medium tan head. Very strong and slightly artificial peach aroma. Flavor is less artificial peach and actually quite pleasantly fruity, although it gets a bit sweet fairly quickly. Fairly nice, but a bit too sweet for a session. nick76 (2669), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2009 The aroma is very fruity with peaches, spices, nuts, and sadly adjunct malts. The appearance red brown with a medium clumpy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bit of the trash malts crashing the fruit party. The palate is average. Overall a nice concept that would be great if better quality ingredients were used. GJF (507), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 9, 2009 It’s a very pretty beer, deep ruby with a tan head. Fruit in the nose but also a bit of unpleasant funk. Flavor is all peach, kind of syrupy and the palate is a bit fizzy, colaish. I like the effort but doesn’t quite work. wingman333 (244), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Nice reddish hue but that’s where the good ends. Foul-smelling and funky, like curdled milk. Tastes like canned peach juice with metallic flavors and nuts blended in. Watery and weak with sour aftertaste. Nasty. Like a child’s beverage experiment. This is bad bad stuff, again from Shiner. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 This one poured a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma was bright artificial peaches, some nuts and sweetness. Flavor was slightly roasted malts, masked by lots of peaches and not much else.
