Good to tip on a sweltering day. Minor hoppage and slight yeastiness makes for a Beer-pop. Crisp and dry finish. thecollector (32), South Carolina, USA

Hints of orange and honey with a touch of spice , maybe a bit of pepep, no real malt and only sublte yeast notes. Light gold color. with a white head , that dissipates almost completely. Nice easy drinking finishes crisp and dry. Not a lot of flavor subtle notes of hops with slight bitterness, and a bit of a peppery finish. Moderate mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Decent easy drinking and quite quaffable espicially on 100F plus days. Appearance is of a glowing gold with a small amount of bubbles rising to the top of the glass. A foamy white head slowly fades into a thin collar.
Smell is of honey, apricot, grain, straw, and perhaps a white grape aroma that is similar to a white wine ester.
Taste is of the same gentle, mildly sweet aromas with a dryness from the Kölsch yeast strain.
Mouthfeel is crisp, with a mild sweetness that quickly dies out with a slick slide down the tongue to a quick, cutting dryness. pintocb (511), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 25, 2006 Wow. I used to drink a lot of Shiner Bock, so I thought I would try this. Pours a thin piss yellow with a boring white head. Smells slightly like a Heiney. Tastes a little bit better than an American light beer.
