Commercial Description:
Effervescent, this summer brew is fashioned after the Kolsch biers that originated in Cologne, Germany, in the 1800s. Hallertau, Magnum, and Mount Hood hops combine for an especially clean, crisp finish.

Light, touch of hoppy crispness, but not the Kolsch is claims to be.

Bottle... Clear, yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Spicy, earthy nose with a faint note of sweat. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but thin with very little malt or hop character. Light to medium-bodied and very lightly creamy with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish with just a sprinkle of sea salt.

Pours yellowish gold with an inch of foam that quickly dissipates. Smells of oranges, yogurt, and chewable vitamins. Taste is initially bitter. I can pick up a hint of ogange and some off pine like tastes. Finishes with a nice tingle from the bubbles as I like kolsch. Not the best example of the style, but drinkable.

Grainy and musty, and that’s from a newly released bottled. An oily wheat mouthfeel, grains and wheat and light lemons throughout. Not very exciting, kind of bland and bad tasting.

Dark straw color with a white quickly diminished head. Best desciption off the top of my head is smells like a weak malt liquor. Light sweet pale malt folowed by a strong grassy weed bitterness. Switches from one to the other, without mixing. Must find something else to clear the palate.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a frothy white head that diminished quickly. Moderate hoppy grainy aroma. Light body with a thin texrure and soft carbonation. Light bitter sweet flavor witha short crisp finish. Worth drinking once.
