ansermadide (496), Kyle, Texas, USA Oct 29, 2009 What a big, frothy white head on this one! Big-bubbled frothy lacing. Clear golden color with slow but steady carbonation. Musky sweet lager aroma. Flavor a little sour and bitter, almost pilsener-like. The top of my mouth feels like it’s shriveling up. Better than I expected: it’s missing that bitter metallic flavor, and that’s a good thing. Mineral water-like finish. yinzerbeernut (39), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 28, 2009 Light amber and sparkling clear. White head that disappears rapidly. Not much on nose but a hint of grass/straw. Light bodied and not much character or finish for a ’reserve’ beer. Expected much more. xs2500 (90), Mississippi, USA Oct 11, 2009 Pours tan with a thick white that dissipates quickly. Taste like flat carbonated water with a hint carmel, drinkable but not enjoyable. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 10, 2009 ( 12oz bottle, courtesy of angrypirate ) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, grain, light corn, and grass. Flavor of caramel malt, grass, and toasted grain. blankboy (3156), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 24, 2009 Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a clear golden-orange with an average size off-white head. Aroma: Yuck: Grain, vegetables and a bit of garbage. Sweet and watery flavour of grain and corn syrup. Light bodied. Not good at all. nick76 (2634), Tampa, Florida, USA Sep 24, 2009 The aroma is a bit dusty with nuts, toffee, yeast, and hay. The appearance is golden with an average head for this type of beer. The flavor is like the aroma which is somewhat unique. The palate is average. Overall it’s not a bad little beer. The aroma is a bit odd but nothing bad. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2009 bottle thanks to my brother. amber with a white head. nose is light malts and corn. watery on the palate with a decent malt flavor but not much else. Fratto (662), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 Very light clear pour, smells a little off, nice orange-sweet taste, bitter aftertaste. They’ve made better beers that could have been named after Kosmos. It was a waste to name it after him, and a waste to have beeen my 400th beer.
