Grain and tupentine aroma, sweet and harsh. Tastes like fake maple syrup aged in an old LawnBoy bag - ugh. Light, slick, still mouthfeel, sweet, with an ugly aftertaste. Tick - and NEVER again. aenimopiate (146), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Everything about this beer is bringing up just one word to me, no matter what I try to think of differently to describe it: coppery. It looks coppery, it smells coppery, and God help me, it tastes coppery. I just hope coppery is a word. zombywoof (362), Shawnee, Kansas, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Pours copper tinted amber with a 2 finger chunky beige head that has good retention. Aroma is caramel, grass, citrus, metal, straw, and a little mineral. Flavor is citrus, grass, butterscotch, cardboard, metal, caramel and a little forest like earthiness. Finish is crisp mineral notes, some citrus and herbal hops and metal. Palate is light-medium bodied with a dry feel throughout and a sharp, but not too sharp carbonation. Not bad stuff really, theres alot wrong with it but somehow it pulls together to be pretty passable overall. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
