Not much aroma to speak of, and the taste is just a touch of malt and bitterness. I enjoy Shiner Bock, but would never seek this one out. ttutony (92), Texas, USA

Pours a nice gold color with a decent, foamy white head that slowly fades. Rather clean aroma and taste. Some malt, corn, grain and some hopes come through. Has a slight sweetness to it. Some bitterness in the end. A good thirst quencher and would be nice to have on a hot day. Not bad. Is pretty good as it warms up too. BrewingFan (88), Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Aroma of cereal and a touch of caramel malt. Clear, light amber color with minimal, white head. Medium sweetness over no bitterness. Light bodies, but on the higher end for a light beer. Good carbonation with a crisp, clean finish. Pretty good on the light beer chart, goes great with chicken wings! smith4498 (918), Miami, Florida, USA

Very bland flavor with just a hint of malts. Light body with average carbonation. yinzerbeernut (61), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 28, 2009 This light beer poured to a crystal amber color with slight carbonation and a short lived head. On nose, it’s a pretty straight forward faint straw aroma that is not complex. This beer has a light body with an almost water like mouthfeel. I did pick up a faint sweetness with a slight hop for a balanced crisp flavor. True to style but not my favorite. nick76 (2678), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 24, 2009 The aroma is unimpressive with mostly water, light grassy hops, honey, and adjunct malt. The appearance is good with a rich gold color and an appropriate head. The flavor is like the aroma with a metallic finish. The palate is smooth for the style. Overall this is not quite right but pretty much to style. Fratto (751), Arlington, Texas, USA
