Pours a deep clear golden with a sprightly carbonation and mid-sized white head with a bit of retention. A little bit of caramel malt and some grassiness on nose. Flavor is very mild, with a slight sweetness in the finish. Hops creep up just a little in the aftertaste. Easy drinking light lager with nice thirst quenching qualities that dodges most of the flaws so prevalent in macro versions of the style. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA

Pours a nice light amber with medium white head, minimal lacing. Aroma surprisingly strong for a light beer with decent malt, slight citrus hops, and some grain. Flavor matches well and was more full bodied than I was expecting. Definitely impressed with this one. RHeastings (419), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a straw-colored yellow, with a small and quickly disappearing white head. The nosing brings a surprisingly strong notable character of munich malt sweetness. The beer is more full in terms of mouthfeel and flavor than most industrial light lagers, and makes a nice representation of the better characteristics of the style. Overall, not life-changing, or even really that pleasing; but a decent to good example of the style. nhamilton (68), Cibolo, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2009 As expected it pour pale yellow with a medium white head. Not bad on the palate, no aftertaste, and goes down smooth enough. Definately better than most light beers I’ve tried. Barreras (128), Diamond Bar, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Pours an apple juice in color, very carbonated. Non distinct in flavor, a little bit more flavorful than normal light beers. Another decent beer from Shiner. Pershing (149), Garland, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 5, 2009 If your i to light beer, this is the one. Light clear amber with a slight grainy taste. The head completely disappears after about 2 minutes. Small amount of carbonation, just enough to see tiny bubbles. Clean somewhat dry finish. drowland (1418), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 4, 2009 12oz bottle into a pint glass. It is what it is - a light beer made by Shiner that is easy to drink, not terrible, but nothing special. JFGrind (1353), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
