Poured a straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced fair lacing. Light sweet malt and grainy aroma. Light body with with a thin texture and lively carbonation. Light sweet smooth flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.
Cold wet alcohol with a little character. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Pours gold with a 2-3 finger chunky white head that has poor retention. Aroma is lots of corn, sweet malt, tin and toasty malt. Flavor is sweet malt, a little grain, corn and some cardboard. Palate is thin, dry and fizzy. Really no better than most of the macro pale lagers, not sure why it scores so much higher... lithy (1845), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 16, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a nice gold with tall whitish head. The aroma is fresh hay and honey with a slight salty tinge. The flavor is husky malt with a definite watered-down quality. There is a bit of lemon peel and hay. The finish starts to get pretty dry after a few sips. Not dry in a refined way, more dry in a dusty, parched way. A step up from macro, but still lacking. At least it is attractive.
