Mar 7, 2008 For a beer that is said to be approved by towns people before leaving this is disappointing. Pours a light amber color with fizzy carbonation. Slight hoppy taste but other than that no real flavor. On par with other light beers.

Feb 2, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks)! Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains and wet hay. Tastes of hay, malty sweetness, and light citrus.

Jan 24, 2008 Clear golden pour with a very thin white head. Sweet and malty aroma. High carbonation. Slightly grassy towards the middle. Mainly malty but there is some pine-sol towards the finish. Decent body for a light beer.

Jan 19, 2008 Pours gold with a decent white head. Smells of sweet malt, hints of hay, some citrussy touches. Tastes of sweet malt with some tangy lemony hints. Not bad for a light beer.

Nov 28, 2007 Why in the world would I drink this when I could have a regular Shiner? Cuz of the calories you say...then I’d rather just not drink and go chew on a piece of tofu.

Nov 18, 2007 I didn’t care for this much at all. It was watery, fizzy, and thats about it. I like shiner’s beers alot but I just don’t have a taste for this one. Sam Adams Light is where I’d rather spend my dollar.
