| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 16, 2005 Light copper color, very light head and some lacing. The nose is lightly malty with just a brief wiff of hops, so small it could have been imagined. The flavor is about the same, a bit of malt, a bit of hops. A bit of body and some moderate sweetness all considering. This is about as light as a texas beer can get based on my measurements. Thanks keets. Tmoney99 (4797), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced fair lacing. Light sweet malt and grainy aroma. Light body with with a thin texture and lively carbonation. Light sweet smooth flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.
Cold wet alcohol with a little character. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Has a light amber body with lots of carbonation. Has a little malt in the nose. Surprisingly full flavor and mouthfeel. Has a decent malty taste. More refreshing than a regular Shiner.
