12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks)! Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains and wet hay. Tastes of hay, malty sweetness, and light citrus.

Pours gold with a decent white head. Smells of sweet malt, hints of hay, some citrussy touches. Tastes of sweet malt with some tangy lemony hints. Not bad for a light beer.

Light copper color, very light head and some lacing. The nose is lightly malty with just a brief wiff of hops, so small it could have been imagined. The flavor is about the same, a bit of malt, a bit of hops. A bit of body and some moderate sweetness all considering. This is about as light as a texas beer can get based on my measurements. Thanks keets.

Bottle from package store when I was riding thru Nashville. Poured a straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced fair lacing. Light sweet malt and grainy aroma. Light body with with a thin texture and lively carbonation. Light sweet smooth flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Cold wet alcohol with a little character.

Bottle from Total Wine of Cary, NC. Pale gold pour with some hopcit and malt in aroma. The taste is watery, but decent for a light beer.

A pretty well made light. If I had to drink a light, this would be my choice. Has a light amber body with lots of carbonation. Has a little malt in the nose. Surprisingly full flavor and mouthfeel. Has a decent malty taste. More refreshing than a regular Shiner.
