A: Yellow & Gold with a light firm head.
S: Smells of cereal and other grain.
T: A hint of malt, cereal, and grian. For a light beer has a full bodied flavor of a pale lager.
D: Excellent drinkability. Very smooth. Very low bitterness with fine balance. Cavie (1509), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Has a little bit of a bite to it, on the malty side. Something I would drink again, although it is not all that light in calories. 110 according to the bottle (about the same as a Guiness pint or a Coors light 12oz (go figure!)). If you like shiner bock and or if you like light beer that tastes like beer, I think you might enjoy this..... Braudog (3782), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2003 Very light amber (surprising color for a "light") with a sustained white head. It has the airy aroma of the macro that it is (despite the words "handcrafted" on the label). It's smooth and well malted with good character and body. I liked it. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 13, 2009 Pours pale copper with a fast fleeting head and no lacing. A little grainy on the nose. Medium nectar with ample effers. A malty backbone sustains the brew featuring a mild hop twitch to bitter. Big on flavor. More like a light Marzen. It’s actually not bad. I think i like this stuff. For a light beer I am impressed. farbio (4), boston area, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2005 For a light beer, very good, has much of the ’shiner’ taste. Doesn’t taste like water or lose its flavor just because its a light beer, perfect for a summer day or yard work! Suprisingly amber with small white/ivory head, aroma is very rich FtWorthBrew (105), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
