pretty average with a smoky hint. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is very light smoke and herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain, a touch of smoke, and light herbal hops. Light to medium body. Not bad. Could use a touch more smoke for my liking.

Like simple lager, but with SMOKE! It’s magic. My son likes it, a few others like it. I don’t despise it nor think it’s terrible, but unlike the great German varieties, it has such a simplistic malt structure that it feels like the smoke is hiding the beer rather than complimenting it. Possibly good beer to cook with?

another shiner crappy beer. i said to myself..........self i will kick your but if you ever buy anything from Shiner. Self did not listen. Why is that? Wait.......I smell mesquite....is that the Shiner Smokehaus?..........oh I am grilln" with mesquite chunks. Another bites the dust

Not a very good smoke beer. Yellow pour. Flavor is of a cheap beer with a fake smoke flavor.

Draft ar Risque Cafe. Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is of malt, smoke, grain, and bread. Not as smoky in the aroma as I thought it would be. Taste is of citrus, grain, smoked ham, and a little bit of wood. The smoke flavors seem to blend in and not really take control like you’d expect a smoked beer to. Very bready malt taste under all the smoke and grain. Mouthfeel was very gritty. Slight lingering burnt citrus taste. Eh

Pours a light gold.. decent foam for a helles.. peanut the cat is a jerk! aroma of light pancake with syrup, old cured ham, and old corn burlap sack .. pretty muddled all and all, but a decent summer brew, just that tiny touch of smoke.. i liked it for the most part, but don’t expect much smoke..

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Clear golden pour with thinnish white head. Light aroma, very mild smoke, mild grain. Mild smokey flavor, sweet and mildly grainy, slight chemical/rubberry flavor. medium body, nice carbonation... aftertaste is somewhat unpleasant.
