llcooldave (166), San Antonio, Texas, USA May 3, 2008 Pours a very light gold color. Thin head and quite watery looking. I’m detecting an aroma of pizza dough and italian herbs. Flavor is slightly peppery and very bubbly on the palate. Overall it’s a bit more complex in aroma and flavor than I would have thought just by looking at it. It may make a great food pairing with pizza or italian food. kidmartinek (724), austin, Texas, USA Apr 30, 2008 I’ve never seen anything as pale as peral light until now. Pours watery pale yellow. With a 1 inch head that lasts 45 seconds. Aroma of fine malt. Taste is malty, bready, watery, metallic, and bitter. Finish is strong and bready, and a little metallic. What was the idea with this one? Swalden_28 (576), McKinney, Texas, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle, Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX.
Pours a clear light yellow with fizzy white head that dissapeared very quickly. Aroma is actually nice, a light berry smell.....Flavor is not bad, just not much of it.....slight berry and very little malt....Mouthfeel is very watery and high carbonation.....This is a light summer beer to quinch the thirst and not be very heavy, and it taste much better then a miller lite with slight citris notes added....that appears to be what they are going for with this beer, so Im not going to slam it, it was light and refreshing....I would drink this again on a hot day by the pool....and guys, if your woman doesn’t like beer, let her try this..... SSSteve (1527), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 7, 2008 very pale gold under a small fizzy white head. typical grainy aroma. flavor is the same. a little sweet, a little bitter. crisp, drinkable palate. refreshing as water. nice, easy carbonation. SamAdams777 (36), Abilene or Stephenville, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2008 This is one damn watery beer, but for some reason I enjoy them. Sort of reminds me of this craft beer from belguim i drank, which was said to use the same 300 year old recipe. It was suppose to be beer that sailors drank(not rum =0) Both could be described as drink while you work beers. Much like like a clean refreshing glass of cold water, with this wiry beer flavor splashed in. Best friend hates it, but I dont.
