lb4lb (1453), Austin, Texas, USA May 11, 2008 Extremely pale yellow, and very clear. Fizzy, extremely short lived head. Smell is thin pale lager like, faintly corn-y malt. Taste is kind of corn like, with a strange unpleasant twang to it. Not particularly clean and with a metallic note to it. Prickly carbonation. Very thin and watery flavorwise with a hint of funky corn and metal. Not great, but still drinkable.
Ernest (4254), Boulder, Colorado, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle.
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of paint and DMS.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean, slightly husky.
Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
Precisely what you would expect. SmellGood (299), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Sep 11, 2008 For some reason I have a special allegiance to Shiner, TX. Great summer beer and hit the spot after sweating in the yard. Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 5, 2008 Pours a very, very pale yellow with a small fizzy head, short-lived, and plenty of gas. Not much aroma, but what it has is grain and cabbage. Way too carbonated, so whatever flavor it has - corn, mainly - is more of an aftertaste. Like the Chicago area needed another near flavorless beer.

troyc (978), Lubbock, Texas, USA Sep 2, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a decent looking white head. Aroma includes quite a bit of grain. Sweet taste is reminiscent of poorly refined corn. Little balance, without any hop notes. High carbonation. I was expecting more. scooter_bub (196), Lander, Wyoming, USA Aug 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma and Taste are of corn, malt and grain. Kind of watery. Not a bad brew as it is refreshing and very easy to drink. Overall, this is pretty enjoyable brew that would be nice to have on a hot day or after work.
