Served on cask. Pours a lightly hazy golden copper with a small bubbly white head that left hints of lacing. Aroma of some slight fruitiness, slight hops and some cereal grains. Flavor of cereal grains, some floral/natural hops and other various fruits.

A taste of Britain right in New Jersey. Very authentic. This brew poured slightly hazy (it was cask pumped) with a small creamy head and a light amber color. The aroma was strong with sweet toffee, with a slight hint of peaches and mustiness, like fruit stored in a cellar. The palate was light, but creamy, and the finish long, with a moderate earthly bitterness. The hop character was less floral or resiny and more dark and earthy than an American pale might be.

No body at all, not helped by the hand pump serving. Overall there was not flavor here.

1/23/06 not 24 as Adam says. Definitely some skunkification going on. Need a little more turnaround time on the beers there. They are kind of all...old

1/24/06 at Ship Inn (obviously), slightly skunky smell, dark amber color, some head from hand pump, skunky flavor, probably time to brew a new batch.

This beer showed a nice amber color. That was about all this beer offered. The aroma while showing no real scent was forgettable where the flavor had a nice citrus to it. The mouth feel was very watery with no distinguishable finish. quite easily a forgettable beer.

Chesnut amber color and no head. Warm and flat body with a hint of cherry in the malt. Sweet rather than bitter. Quick profile.
